Purchasing diamond engagement ring is a very daunting and important experience of your life. And it is possible that you may make wrong decision if you do have any idea of jewellery. Hence it is good to buy your engagement ring very carefully.
Here are few simple steps which will help you in making a right decision and will also help you in making your engagement memorable.
Step 1
You must begin your shopping with establishing your budget. You must have the idea of how much you want to spend on your ring because according to the jewellers they have set a rule of spending two months salary on engagement rings. There are people who set for this budget only but if your budget is low then you can go for cheap engagement rings. You can browse online stores and can buy engagement rings for cheap prices.
Step 2
You can also buy loose diamonds for your ring. Loose diamonds are less expensive compare to diamonds that are already set in a setting. And the best part of loose diamonds is that you can easily determine the quality of your ring.
Step 3
You must always buy your ring from the reputed jewellery store. Always remember it is good to spend your enough time and shop around so that you can find the best deal in your ring. If you will buy your ring from the reputed jeweller then they will help you in finding the best diamond for your ring and you will be assured of the quality.
Step 4
You must also consider what your partner wears because the ring which you will present her she will wear the ring everyday for her rest of the life. Hence it is very important to buy your ring according to the preference of your partner. Generally there are woman who love to select the ring by their own but if you want to give her a surprise then it is good to consider her taste in jewellery.
Step 5
Before purchasing your diamond ring you must make sure of the diamond certification and you must also make sure of the return policy. Generally there are stores offering 30 day return policy but if your store is not providing such guarantee then it is good to walk out from the store. You must also read the policy of insurance carefully. It is good to have a ring with insurance because insurance covers theft and loss.
Step 6
The diamond set on your ring symbolizes deep love and feelings hence it is good to understand the 4C'S of diamond before buying your diamond engagement ring.
Step 7
You must never buy your ring at the last moment. Always remember it is not just a piece of jewellery hence you must give some time in finding a right engagement ring for your partner. And if you want to design your own ring then it will take few weeks. Hence it is good to start your shopping from few months before.
Always remember no matter whatever style or design you select for your ring but the thing which matters is the love which you want to show by your ring. And by presenting diamond engagement ring of any quality to your loved one will definitely make her heart merrier.

Very Emergency $11.18 Unfortunately, you will never see the Promise Ring the way they were in the days of Thirty Degrees Everywhere, but you can at least appreciate the good parts of what they have become. Their emotionally tense and sentimental edge has pretty much entirely disappeared; everything is happy, bouncy, and catchy as hell, which isn't always a bad thing. This excessively poppy direction that the Promise Ring boys take throughout this entire record was heavily hinted at on their three-song EP Boys & Girls. Perhaps one of the more upsetting things about this album is that the lyrics have lost that classic Promise Ring feel -- they actually make clear sense a lot of the time. At times, the music just gets so poppy that it is sickening, such as in the sappy "bop bop bop" background vocals on "Skips a Beat (Over You)," and the references to the band members' names in an otherwise fairly decent song "Things Just Getting Good." Although three-fourths of the album is pretty much bad pop songs, it somehow grows on you, as those Promise Ring kids have the uncanny ability to do. ~ Blake Butler, Rovi |

Tommy Bahama Very Cool $28.99 Women's 1.7 oz EDP Spray. Tommy Bahama Very Cool Perfume for Women is an aquatic citrus floral that radiates sparkling freshness and energy with traces of sensuality. The citrus explosion at the top of tangerine clementine and pink pomelo promises sparkling effervescence. Lush and green succulent cactus flower boosts the citrus top notes. The heart of the fragrance is sunny hibiscus in full bloom spiked with tangy cassis and the fresh blithe feeling of dewy greens musks exotic woods and fresh juicy nectarine. Soft woods impart subtle traces of sensuality. The cool sparkle of Tommy Bahama Very Cool Perfume is captured in a custom designed sculpted ocean blue glass bottle. The bottle is capped with the unexpected combination of sunbleached wood reminiscent of driftwood washed up onto shore. The cap is banded with a shimmering glossy silver collar that replicates a Hawaiian wedding ring. The folding carton is decorated with a graphical presentation of island palm fronds in blue sky tones. |

Very Best of Northern Soul $7.99 Its stupefyingly dull title is fairly emblematic of what The Very Best of Northern Soul has to offer -- for each one of the 20 tracks included here, you can think of another 20 songs that would also fall within the "very best-of" parameters, but the selections are still pretty great, the disc is incredibly cheap (about half the price of a pack of smokes in most stores), and for newcomers to the Northern scene, it's not a bad little introduction to what the music is all about. There's not much in the way of liner notes, but the sound quality is fine, and in an ideal world most listeners will find themselves compelled to dig deeper once their appetites are whet -- highlights include Popcorn Wylie's "With This Ring," Frances Nero's "Out on the Floor," J.J. Barnes' "Our Love Is in the Pocket," and Edwin Starr's "Breakin' Down the Walls of Heartache." ~ Jason Ankeny, Rovi |

The Very Best of the Fortunes (1967-1972) $9.59 Fans of Birmingham, England's Merseybeat/British Invasion quintet the Fortunes who are looking for a definitive best-of will have to keep looking, but for the money, this lovingly crafted collection from the Taragon label does pretty well for itself. Focusing on the late-'60s/early-'70s output from the group, The Very Best of the Fortunes (1967-1972) may not contain "You've Got Your Troubles" (the band's most recognizable single), "Caroline," "Here It Comes Again," or "The Golden Ring," but it does have 12 choice cuts from the band's revival years, including "Here Comes That Rainy Day Feeling Again," "Gasoline Alley Bred," and "Fire Brigade." Unlike previous compilations, all of the tracks here are originals and not the re-recordings that have plagued recent attempts at an anthology. Fans of the Moody Blues, the Zombies, and the Hollies should find much to love here, as will anybody who appreciates strong melodies with tight harmonies. ~ James Christopher Monger, Rovi |

Very Best of Craig Douglas $9.59 Mild-mannered British teen idol Craig Douglas topped the U.K. charts in 1959 with "Only Sixteen," a cover of a Sam Cooke song that spent 15 weeks in the top spot. He had nearly a dozen hits between 1959-1963, all of which were featherweight cover versions of songs by American acts such as the Drifters, Gene McDaniels, Steve Lawrence and Dion. One of his hits, "Our Favourite Melodies," is a cover of an excellent regional hit by Gary Criss that didn't reach the national charts in the United States, but reached the Top Ten in England via Douglas' recording. The Very Best of Craig Douglas is a 30-song anthology of his original Top Rank and Columbia recordings from his hit period that expands upon and replaces the out of print collection, Only Sixteen. Despite the omission of two charting singles Douglas waxed for Decca in 1963, this is as exhaustive a collection as most consumers would want. In addition to the hits, Douglas sings teen-oriented arrangements of pop standards ("On the Sunny Side of the Street"), a rewrite of Johnny Horton's "Battle of New Orleans" told from the British perspective, additional covers of American pop hits, and a few songs by British composers. One of the latter, "Ring-A-Ding," is Douglas' hardest rocker, and is such a stylistic outlier that it is sequenced at the very end of the program. Douglas' delicate, precious teen sound is far more sugary than Ricky Nelson or Bobby Vee, and is more akin to the Fleetwoods minus the girl singers (in fact, his first Top Rank single was a non-charting rendition of the Fleetwoods' "Come Softly to Me.") One drawback to The Very Best of Craig Douglas is that it was manufactured using the controversial Copy Control technology that EMI abandoned in 2006. ~ Greg Adams, Rovi |

The Very Best Of: 100 R&B Classics $29.59 It’s debatable as to whether each selection on The Very Best Of: 100 R&B Classics is certifiably classic, of course, but it is obvious that the set isn’t limited to R&B. A fair amount of space on the five-disc set, in fact, is reserved for popular rap singles. The emphasis is on hits from 2005-2010, but the compilers reached back to the early ‘80s and incorporate several tracks from the ‘90s as well. The highlights include Keith Sweat's “I Want Her,” De La Soul's “Ring Ring Ring,” Cassie’s “Me & U,” Silk’s “Freak Me,” Amerie’s “1 Thing,” and Lupe Fiasco's “Kick Push.” The inclusion of K.P. & Envyi's “Swing My Way” -- an oft-neglected late-‘90s gem -- is a very nice touch. ~ Andy Kellman, Rovi |

The Very Best of Pat Lewis $12.99 Pat Lewis' r?sum? includes singing with the Adorables on Golden World Records; the Andantes -- Motown's premiere female backing group; and Isaac Hayes' magnificent Hot Buttered Soul. Welcome to Pat Lewis-lite. The title misleads with wording normally used for greatest-hits compilations. These weren't hits, simply part of a mega-project by Ian Levine to record everybody connected with Motown. And it sounds like it -- you'd think Lewis grew up in suburbia in a house with multi-bathrooms and a bedroom big enough to hang a bicycle on the wall rather than rough and tumble Detroit, MI. The whole affair is as creative as StarTac's nine irritating phone ring choices. Remakes of Jackie Ross' "Selfish One" and Tammi Terrell's "Come on and See Me" are the most arresting; on both she mimics the original singer's style. Lewis' most intense vocal comes on a remake of Fontella Bass' "Rescue Me," but the track is sterile compared to the fiery original. Best of the rest are "The Rhythm Is Right," "Talk to Me," and the beat ballad "Sweetest Feeling." ~ Andrew Hamilton |

The Very Best of the Easybeats $13.58 Several Easybeats best-of compilations prefaced the appearance of this one, including a mid-'80s Rhino anthology, Best of the Easybeats, which had a track lineup (and title) similar to this 2003 release. Like that Rhino compilation, although this does a decent job overall of gathering the best material by the Easybeats that was widely exposed to the U.S./U.K. markets, it's not an optimal survey of their work. Its main flaw is the nearly total absence of pre-"Friday on My Mind" mid-'60s tracks recorded primarily for the Australian market -- tracks that included some of their best and most exciting singles, like "Wedding Ring," "Sad & Lonely & Blue," and "She's So Fine." The 18 tracks on this CD, however, are generally high-quality pop/rock with a big British Invasion influence, whether of the rowdy mid-'60s kind or of the slightly later pop-psychedelic sort. While "Friday on My Mind" might remain the only track here familiar to the average listener, it does include their smaller British hit "Hello, How Are You"; the big 1966 Aussie hits "Sorry" and "Make You Feel Alright (Women)"; good flops like "Gonna Have a Good Time (Good Times)"; and standout B-sides like "Pretty Girl" and "Land of Make Believe." As a small but praiseworthy perk, this also has the American versions of their cult singles "Falling Off the Edge of the World" (that one in mono), "Come In, You'll Get Pneumonia," and "Hello, How Are You," which are actually preferable to the more elaborate, heavily orchestrated different ones that circulate on other releases. Also on board is the "fast" European single version of "The Music Goes Round My Head," which wasn't one of their best songs, but whose availability should make some people happy. ~ Richie Unterberger, Rovi |

It's not a bad way to acquire the albums if you don't already own them, but the casual listener looking for the hits "Sideshow" and "Three Ring Circus" should check out The Magic of the Blue: Greatest Hits. ~ Al Campbell, Rovi Performers: Greg Moore - Conga; Larry Washington - Conga, Percussion; T.
